Moana Road Press is a private printery in the heart of Wellington, New Zealand.

 

While looking for a way to the print the line art cards of Madshrew, a new world opened.  A printing engineer was asked, "Would it be a silly idea to find an old press to print them on?"  He said a Heidelberg Platen would be great.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But it was  lonely until it found an Arab Foolscap Folio c.1898.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And then a response to another silly question resulted in a Vandercook SP15.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A platemaker and type cabinets completed the family.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But then a Haddon Swift was looking for a home... and an Arab Crown...and a Vicobold...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and some Adanas...and a Farley...(that's found a new home)...and guess what an Albion....
